The Seventh Annual GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre Research Day was held on May 4, 2016 at the GF Strong Rehab Centre.  It was presented in partnership by: GF Strong Rehab Centre, Rehabilitation Research Program GF Strong, UBC Division of Physical Medicine & Rehab, UBC Rehabilitation Research Laboratory GF Strong, UBC Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, UBC Department of Physical Therapy and ICORD.

Highlights of the day included both podium and poster research presentations by Students, Residents, Staff, Clinicians and Researchers.   A special lunch hour keynote speaker Dr. Julie Bernhardt, Principal Research Fellow, Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health from the University of Melbourne presented on:  International Rehabilitation Trials - Is it the Way of the Future? The day ended with a Plenary presentation by Dr. Alex Mihailidis , Barbara G. Stymiest Research Chair in Rehabilitation Technology, from the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute - AGE WELL Network of Centres of Excellence.  He presented a talk on:  Disruption ahead:  Transforming Technology for Aging and Healthcare.  

This event has grown significantly over the last few years and provides an excellent opportunity and venue to share all the great research work going on in the Centre and throughout the province.
